The shop is located in beautiful historic downtown Grand Forks at 23 S. 4th St., Grand Forks, ND, across from the Transit Center and two doors up from the Urban Stampede. We are open Monday through Friday, 10:30-5:30, and the phone number is 701-746-5090. We are not open New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Complete custom picture framing and related services: matting, framing, dry mounting, shrink wrapping, stretcher building, and restoration and repair of artworks and frames. Another service offered is art consulting.
Owned and operated by a professional artist with a Master of Fine Arts degree.
Fine arts gallery includes art in every medium and features contemporary to antique works. We also have gift items and greeting cards.

A word to the wise...
Browning Arts does not offer coupons or discounts based on artificially inflated prices. Our everyday prices are the same as the discounted prices of other picture framing shops.
All of our frames are solid wood (except the metal ones), not plastic or man-made composite. We make all the frames ourselves on-site and they are constructed in the traditional, high-quality manner with glue and nails, which insures that if you bump the corner and it separates, it can be fixed to look like new because the wood is not damaged.
Browning Arts has been in operation since 1981 and has years of experience, and a long background in the arts (art degrees from UND). We can solve your problems. We do restoration of all kinds of two- and three-dimensional art and memorabilia as well as regular matting and framing, dry mounting, and shrink wrapping. We also have a great gallery full of artwork of all media and eras.
The person you talk to at the front desk is the same person who does your work, and will take as much time as needed to help you find the right presentation for your artworks, whether they're needle art, paintings, photos, old documents, family heirlooms, prints, etc.
